Jason Pinckard is an artist who currently resides in Pensacola, Florida. In 2014, he graduated with a BFA in Studio Art from The University of West Florida. In 2019 he graduated with an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from the University of South Florida. CV available upon request.
Artist Statement:
At its core, my work is an experiment in form and aesthetics, driven by trial, error, and play. As a scavenger and remixer, I am fascinated by what found materials—dust, waste, debris, junk, artifacts, natural objects, and more—can reveal about human values, perception, time, desire, and the intricate connections between the natural, cultural, and industrial worlds.
